합기도를 위해 노력하시느라 바쁘신데도 빠른 답을주셔서감사 합니다.
그러나 아직도 제 말을 못믿는것 같은데 억지로 권할수가 없네요. 마음대로 하십시요, 난 협회에 관심이 없으니까요. 계속 내 이름을 묻는데 협회 문제와 내 이름이 무슨관계가 있습니까?
당신과 개인적으로 의논하자고 했는데 , 나는 그럴 필요가 없다고 봅니다. 이런 일일수록 우리 모두가 공개적으로 토론을 해야합니다. 그리고 나는 어떤 명에나 9단 단 증 같은거 필요 없습니다. 내가 만약 그런걸 바라는 사람같으면 오늘날 이러고 있지 않았을 겁니다. 그져 합기도를 사랑하는 사람중에 한사람일뿐입니다. 그점에 신경 쓰지마십시요,
이글을 끝내기전 다시 한번 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 한국판 홈페이지 담당자 가 누군지는 모르지만 그분한테 전해주세요. 비방이나 모욕, 광고 또는 정치문제 같은 내용이 아니라면 절대 지우지말라고 하십시요. 이유는 잘 아시리라믿습니다.
심지어 다른 무술협회 홈페이지에 같은 글을 올렸었는데 거기마져 지우
게 하는데 어린애들 장난같은것 그만 하라고 하십시요. 그렇게 자신이 없어가지고 어떻게 협회를 운영 할려는지 모르겠군요. 다른 홈페이지에 이런글을 올린다는것이 합기도인들에게 수치인줄 알면서도 대한합기도협회측에서 이유없이 자꾸 지우니 어쩔수가 없었습니다. 사실 마음만 먹으면 거기 아니라도 올리는 방법은 많이 있습니다만 그만 하겠습니다. 그리고 빨리 홈페이지를
마무리 하라고 하십시요.
아시다시피 많은 합기도인들이 협회운영하는것을 주시하고 있습니다. 유능한 합기도인 들도 많이 게시지만 단지 그분들이 나서지 않을뿐이죠.
협회를 독재자 같이 운영하지마시고 다른 사람들의 의견도 수렴 해야 그분들도 협조를할겁니다. 그러노라면 분명히 전 보다 더 발전된 합기도가 되리라 믿습니다.
그리고 앞으로 더 이상 이런일가지고 글을쓰고 싶지않습니다. 또 그럴 시간도 없구요.
그럼, 대한민국의 합기도가 계속 발전하기를 빌면서 이만 줄입니다.

Dear Mr. Richard Hackworth,
Thank you for your prompt reply and efforts to promote Hapkido but it seems that you still don’t believe me. In the end, it’s up to you. There is no way I can force you to believe the way I feel.
I don’t need a 9th Dan Black belt or any position from the KHF, I just hope the KHF is getting better. If I liked any position or higher rank, I would not be here. So, please don’t mention this again. I don’t think we have to talk privately because of this. We should discuss more openly if we want to promote Hapkido and then the other Hapkido members will cooperate with you.
As you know many Hapkido members keep their eyes on what your teams are doing, the KHF should listen to their many constructive ideas. There is a lot of intelligence in the Hapkido Members. The problem is that, it seems the KHF doesn’t open their doors to the members’ ideas. They are simply managing the organization with some form of Dictatorship.
Before concluding this letter, I would like to remind you to tell the person in charge of the Korean version of the free message board not to delete any opinions unless it’s insulting, an advertisement or speaks of political subjects, I hope you know why. Even I posted my letters on the other martial arts web sites and the KHF asked them to delete it, but not all the web Masters listened to the KHF’s order. What a shame to all of the Hapkido members. The reason why I posted the information was because the KHF constantly deleted my letters and other people’s letters without any reason. Stop acting in this kind of childish behavior. I have many ways to post them but I don’t. You should not treat us like a stupid person.
Finally, I hope I will not be forced to write about this kind of subjects in the future and have high hopes that the KHF will continue to improve.
